CPI Security in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Residential Security Sales Manager to lead the local sales team, drive profitable growth, and manage cost evaluations and budget planning for development in surrounding markets.

You will recruit and train staff, meet with key customers, collaborate with Security Consultants, close deals, and develop strategies to expand residential and new construction sales channels in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required.
• Minimum 5+ years industry experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM tools (Salesforce a plus).

• Develop strategies with the team to grow the customer base.
• Improve sales efficiencies and employee retention through leadership and training.

• Meet with key customers, assist consultants, negotiate and close deals.

CPI Security, a leader in security and automation systems is hiring a Residential Security Sales Manager for our team in our Wilmington, NC market. They will be responsible for cost evaluations, and ongoing budget planning for developing current and new markets in the surrounding areas and must be able to thrive in a competitive, fast-paced sales environment, and have strong leadership skills. This individual will be responsible for profitable growth and strategic planning to grow the residential and new construction sales channels.

What You'll Do

• Manage the assigned sales force and ensure awareness and training regarding products, services and selling skills in compliance with company policies and procedures
• Develop strategies with team on how to grow customer base
• Continuously seek to improve sales efficiencies and employee retention by providing the leadership and training necessary to achieve sales objectives
• Review sales performances of staff and provide regular feedback, establishing improvement plans as needed
• Recruit, interview and hire sales professionals to ensure staffing levels are met
• Conduct regular sales meetings to communicate current sales policies and procedures, sales promotions and branch sales numbers
• Resolve consumer inquires and complaints regarding installations, product quality, sales price, contract and other relevant business
• Meet with key customers, assisting Security Consultants with maintaining relationships and negotiating and closing deals
• Exhibit foresight in recognizing potential problems and develop solutions to overcome obstacles and close deals.

What We Are Looking For

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
• Minimum 5 + years industry experience
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficient in Sales CRM (Salesforce a plus)
