Job summary

The candidate should be a skilled carpenter or technician capable of working independently while representing the company in clients' homes and on active projects. The role involves performing service, repair, and carpentry work on residential construction projects, assessing issues, and communicating findings to clients and the Service Project Manager.

Qualifications

• Mid- to high-level carpentry or service/warranty technician experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of residential construction practices and processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform service, repair, and maintenance work on residential construction projects
• Assess issues and determine practical, effective solutions
• Communicate findings and recommendations to clients and the Service Project Manager
• Plan and coordinate schedules with the Service Project Manager
• Document completed work, client requests, and project details for regular review
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite
• Deliver high-quality carpentry work as needed, including: Jobsite setup and upkeep, Framing and construction sequencing, Door and window installation, Exterior trim, cornice, and siding installation, Interior trim and specialty finish installation, Read and interpret plans and specifications, Communicate effectively with coworkers, subcontractors, vendors, and clients, Manage time effectively and make sound decisions in the field, Transport materials and equipment to jobsites as needed using a company vehicle when available
