Job Summary

Residential Rehab Educators/Counselors assist clients experiencing behavioral health issues with goal setting, daily living skills, meaningful activities, socialization, transportation, medication administration, and treatment plan implementation. The role focuses on fostering independence and enhancing quality of life.

Education and Qualifications

Education: HS diploma or equivalent; coursework in psychology, human services, social work, or health sciences toward an Associates or Bachelor’s degree preferred.

• Previous experience in the health and human services field or related education/training.
• Ongoing training and development provided.
• Patience and ability to interact with individuals with disabilities.
• Dependability, flexibility, and a strong desire to help others.
• Computer proficiency and willingness to learn an electronic health record system.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record; accessing a personal vehicle may be required at certain sites.
• CPR, First Aid, and MAP certifications required.

Compensation and Benefits

Annual salary range: $20 – $20 per hour. Compensation is based on experience, qualifications, and certifications.
