Job summary

Team Architects is seeking a Residential Real Estate Associate Attorney to join the Charlotte, NC team handling 95% South Carolina transactions. The role focuses on high-volume closings, client service, and independent work with supervision as needed.

The ideal candidate has 2–3 years of residential real estate experience, active SC license, and strong judgment to manage complex title issues and deliver accurate closings.

Qualifications

• JD from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in South Carolina and good standing with the State Bar.
• North Carolina licensure is preferred but not required.
• 2–3 years of residential real estate law experience preferred.
• Experience conducting residential real estate closings and reviewing title matters.

Responsibilities

• Conduct approximately 4–5 residential real estate closings per day, up to 100 closings per month.
• Handle transactions involving buyers, sellers, lenders, builders, investors, etc.
• Review closing documents, title searches, and title commitments for sufficiency and accuracy.
• Identify and address title issues and curative matters.
• Communicate clearly with clients, Realtors, lenders, and internal teams throughout closing.
