The ideal candidate has a J.D., active SC bar membership, and 2+ years in a law firm. You will work with experienced staff to ensure compliant, efficient closings and excellent client service.

Qualifications

• Active bar membership in local jurisdiction; active member preferred.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a law firm environment.
• J.D. from an accredited law school with experience representing clients.

Responsibilities

• Manage residential real estate transactions from contract through closing.
• Review title examinations and resolve title issues.
• Prepare and review closing documents.
• Communicate with buyers, sellers, lenders, agents, and title professionals.
• Ensure transactions comply with South Carolina real estate laws and lender requirements.
• Deliver an exceptional client experience throughout each transaction.
• Work closely with support staff to maintain efficient workflows.
