Job summary

Osceola County Council on Aging, Inc. is seeking a Housing Maintenance Technician to uphold the safety, operation, and appearance of all properties.

You will respond to tenant requests, perform plumbing, electrical, carpentry work, and conduct routine inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. Requirements include a High School diploma or GED and 1–2 years of experience in building maintenance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1–2 years of experience in building maintenance or related field.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Respond to maintenance requests from tenants and staff (plumbing, electrical, carpentry).
• Perform routine inspections to ensure safety and quality in units and common areas.
• Paint and touch up interior/exterior surfaces and fixtures as needed.
• Maintain grounds and common areas; manage trash and debris removal.
• Coordinate with vendors/contractors and document work in logs.
