Job summary

CrimsonBlu Residential Property Inspector in San Diego, CA is seeking motivated independent contractors to perform residential property inspections as 1099 contractors. You will control your schedule, travel to properties, and conduct exterior (and occasional interior) inspections with professional communication through our mobile app.

Inspectors must deliver accurate, on-time service, capture required photos, and may use a camera pole for roof shots on applicable jobs, while coordinating

Qualifications

• Independent contractor status (1099) with control over schedule.
• Self-employed contractor with ability to travel to inspections.
• Willingness to work with multiple clients and handle own taxes.

CrimsonBlu is looking for motivated, detail-oriented business owners/independent contractors in San Diego, CA to complete residential property inspections. If you like being outdoors, working independently, and controlling your own schedule — this is a great way to build a business around your life, not the other way around.

This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position. You control how and when you complete accepted jobs, you're free to work with other companies at the same time, and you're responsible for your own taxes and any applicable business insurance.

The Gig

• Traveling to properties to complete exterior (and occasional interior) underwriting inspections you've accepted
• A brief, professional conversation with homeowners explaining the inspection
• Capturing the required photos and data through our mobile web application
• Using a camera pole for roof photos on applicable jobs
• Scheduling your own appointments for interior/high-value inspections
• Delivering accurate, on-time, professional service with clear communication

Service Fees

• Service fee structure: Paid per completed inspection on a monthly basis
• Time estimates: 2-3 working day(s) per week / 10 days per month

• Availability: Jobs are generally available during daylight hours, Monday through Saturday (holidays excluded), based on customer expectations — you decide which days and how many you take on.
