Job summary

CrimsonBlu Residential Property Inspector in Burlington, IA seeks motivated independent contractors to perform residential inspections. You travel to properties, capture exterior photos and occasional interior data, and explain the inspection to homeowners.

This 1099 role lets you set your own hours, build your own route, and work with other clients. You’ll be paid per completed inspection, with time estimates of one day per week and four days per month.

CrimsonBlu is looking for motivated, detail-oriented business owners/independent contractors in Burlington, IA to complete residential property inspections. If you like being outdoors, working independently, and controlling your own schedule — this is a great way to build a business around your life, not the other way around.

This is a 1099 independent contractor role, not an employee position. You control how and when you complete accepted jobs, you're free to work with other companies at the same time, and you're responsible for your own taxes and any applicable business insurance.

The Gig

• Traveling to properties to complete exterior (and occasional interior) underwriting inspections you've accepted
• A brief, professional conversation with homeowners explaining the inspection
• Capturing the required photos and data through our mobile web application
• Using a camera pole for roof photos on applicable jobs
• Scheduling your own appointments for interior/high-value inspections
