The Arc Ocean County Chapter is seeking a dedicated Residential Program Manager (Group Home Manager) to oversee a Community Living residence in Brick, New Jersey. This full-time role focuses on overseeing daily operations, supervising staff, coordinating individualized services, and maintaining a safe, supportive home for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum two (2) years of experience supporting individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a residential setting.
• Valid New Jersey driver's license in good standing with no more than five (5) motor vehicle points.

Responsibilities

• Direct the daily activities and overall operation of an assigned Community Living residence.
• Maintain a residential setting that promotes safety, dignity, independence, and personal choice.
• Ensure services are delivered consistently and in accordance with individual support needs.
• Monitor program practices and address operational concerns that may affect service quality.
• Establish clear expectations and maintain effective communication throughout the residence.
• Help ensure the home operates in accordance with agency policies and applicable regulatory standards.
• Oversee recruitment, training, supervision, and performance evaluations for staff.
• Develop employee schedules that maintain appropriate staffing coverage and meet program needs.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and professional guidance to support employee development.
• Address staffing concerns and assist employees in resolving workplace challenges.
