Job Description:

Join us as the Part-Time Residential Programs Coordinator of Bridge Housing and play a pivotal role in transforming lives at the Bridge Housing Campus. This is more than a job; it’s a calling to make a real difference in the lives of our 40 residents. You will collaborate with a dedicated team committed to not just managing, but also enhancing our bridge housing program. Your work will directly contribute to creating a nurturing and welcoming space within the community, embodying our mission to provide not just shelter, but real transformation in people’s lives.

The Part-Time Residential Programs Coordinator at the Pope Francis Center Bridge Housing Campus is responsible for coordinating and implementing educational, recreational, and therapeutic programs for residents. Working under the supervision of the Residential Manager and in coordination with the Care Plan Manager, this role ensures that residents have access to activities and resources that promote their personal development and well-being.

Responsibilities:

  • Program Coordination and Support:
    • Coordinate the daily operations of residential life, ensuring a safe, clean, and orderly environment.
    • Support programming schedules for activities, meals, and other daily routines.
    • Support the logistics and execution of recreational, educational, and therapeutic activities for residents, partners, volunteers, and other resources.
  • Team Collaboration and Coordination:
    • Work closely with the Residential Manager, Residential Schedule Coordinator, Care Plan Manager, and caseworkers to integrate programs into residents’ individualized care plans.
    • Participate in team meetings to discuss resident progress and program effectiveness.
  • Daily Resident Encouragement and Supervision:
    • Support residents in setting and achieving personal goals, monitoring their progress, providing ongoing encouragement, and responding to immediate needs and concerns along the way.
    • Ensure residents adhere to the program’s code of conduct and community guidelines.
  • Documentation, Evaluation, and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of critical resident interactions, progress, and outcomes.
    • Under supervision of Residential Manager, prepare regular reports on program activities, resident progress, and operational issues for review by the Associate Director and other leadership.

Ideal Candidates:

  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with vulnerable populations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, education, or a related field or minimum of 2-3 years of experience in program coordination, preferably within a social services or homeless services environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software.

The Part-time Residential Programs Coordinator will play a crucial role in the success of the Pope Francis Center Bridge Housing Campus, ensuring that residents receive the comprehensive support they need to transition to stable, independent living.
