Job summary

Willard is seeking a skilled Plumbing Technician in Kentucky to handle installation, maintenance, inspection, operation, and repair of residential plumbing systems. You will diagnose issues, explain options to homeowners, and ensure safety and quality in every task.

The role requires experience, strong customer service, and the ability to mentor apprentices while working with the dispatch and service teams. Sign-on bonus is available for licensed plumbers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with diagnostic troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of residential plumbing, water heaters, tankless, and filtration
• Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
• Journeyman / Tradesmen license or able to obtain within 6 months
• Ability to provide repair versus replacement options to customers
• Knowledge of drain machines, camera, and locator equipment
• Knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of required tools
• High School Diploma or GED
• Clean driving record
• Basic computer skills, ability to use an iPad to document work
• Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in the English language

Responsibilities

• Execute troubleshooting to identify root causes of plumbing issues
• Perform timely and accurate repairs to resolve plumbing and drain issues
• Explain service and provide exact prices with customer approval before work
• Establish rapport to sell products and services
• Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures
• Ensure compliance with local codes and regulations
• Educate customers on finance options and maintenance plans
• Maintain truck cleanliness inside and out
• Work with Customer Service and Dispatch to ensure success
• Document services with before/after photos
• Maintain safety on job and while driving
• Participate in training, meetings, and retreats
• Train and mentor apprentices
