Job summary

KB Complete Plumbing in Kansas is seeking a Lead Plumbing Installer to oversee residential install jobs, train apprentices, and ensure on-time, high-quality work.

You will manage equipment, review work orders, and follow OSHA safety procedures to maintain a safe, efficient job site while delivering 100% customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct leadership and oversight to plumbing install jobs.
• Maintains certifications for operating equipment.
• Trains and mentors apprentices for high-quality installations.
• Ensures OSHA and safety procedures are followed on site.
• Ensures customer satisfaction and quality control for sewer and drain work.
• Reviews statements of work and ensures materials and equipment are ready.
• Oversees equipment maintenance and closeout documentation.
• Collects invoices and provides subject-matter guidance to crew.

Overview

Lead Plumbing Installer

What You Will Do:

• Provides direct leadership and oversight to plumbing install jobs.
• Completes and maintains all certifications for operating special and heavy equipment.
• Knowledgeable of pipe bursting techniques, and open trench plumbing repair.
• Train and mentor apprentices to ensure on-time, high quality installations.
• Is aware of and follows all current company and OSHA jobs site safety procedures.
• Provides quality control and quality assurance for sewer and drain repair jobs.
• Ensures every customer is 100% satisfied with repair.
• Prepares for jobs by reviewing Statement of Work, and ensure required material and equipment is on hand for job.
• Oversees maintenance of all equipment utilized by team.
• Ensures closeout packages are prepared and uploaded for every job.
• Ensures invoices are collected for every job.
• Provides subject matter expertise to crew as needed.
• Makes recommendations to leadership team for process improvements

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to work in confined spaces (e.g., attics, crawl spaces, basements).

• Manual dexterity to handle electrical tools and equipment.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions when performing outdoor installations.
