Job summary

ASI Hastings Inc. in the San Diego area is seeking a Plumbing Install Apprenticeship to learn under experienced plumbers and grow skills in residential settings. This entry-level role focuses on hands-on installation of piping, fixtures, and appliances while following safety and quality standards.

You will work with a skilled team, cut and assemble pipes, and assist with field work across home sites. A strong work ethic and willingness to learn are essential, with health insurance and retirement

Qualifications

• Ability to work with tools.
• Ability to handle physical workload.
• Ability to understand and follow oral and written directions.
• Current and valid driver’s license in the state where you will be working.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing plumbing systems, including pipes, fixtures, and appliances in residential settings
• Follow instructions from senior plumbers to ensure high-quality workmanship
• Work with experienced plumber installing residential plumbing fixtures and piping
• Cut, assemble, and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g., electrical wiring)
• Use a variety of plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)
• Complete all tasks in accordance with company quality and safety standards
• Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure projects are completed efficiently
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client questions and concerns professionally
• Adhere to safety standards and company policies
