Job summary

Ace Hardware Corporation in New Jersey seeks an experienced plumber for residential service. You will diagnose and repair plumbing systems, install water treatment equipment, and provide in-home customer solutions with a focus on quality and safety.

With 5+ years in residential plumbing, you will lead field activities, maintain a clean truck, and pursue opportunities to convert estimates into sales while upholding excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience: at least 5 years in residential plumbing service.
• Strong customer service and respectful in-home interaction.
• Clean driving record and willingness to work late if required.

Responsibilities

• Service new and existing customers with customized plumbing solutions.
• Lead in the plumbing field to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide solutions for plumbing and water treatment systems.
• Follow up on estimates to convert to sales.
• Diagnose leaks, clogs, no water, low pressure, etc.
• Repair or replace pipes, faucets, water heaters, sump pumps, disposals, drain lines, shower valves.
• Highlight warranties, service quality, financing options.
• Install water treatment systems, gas piping, etc.
• Maintain a fully stocked company truck.

What You’ll Do:

• Service new and existing customers to provide a customized solution to fix the issue at hand.
• Serve as a leader in the plumbing field to ensure customer satisfaction
• Provide customers with solutions for their Plumbing and Water Treatment systems
• Follow-up with existing estimates to offer any additional information as needed to convert them into sales
• Diagnosing; leaks, drain clogs, no water, no hot water, low water pressure, etc.
• Repairing/replacing broken pipes, faucets, water heaters, sump pumps, disposals, drain lines, shower valves, etc
• Emphasize benefits such as warranties, years in business, quality of service, and financing options
• Installing water treatment systems, gas piping, etc.
• Maintain an orderly, clean, and fully stocked company truck.

What You Need To Succeed:

• An experienced plumber with at least 5 years experience in residential service
• A positive attitude with a willingness to treat our customers with the utmost respect.
• A deep understanding of plumbing equipment
• Enthusiasm to learn and grow
• The ability to express the utmost respect with the time in our client's home
• Clean driving record
• Ability to work late when the job at hand requires it
