Job description

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Residential Plumber to join our team. In this role, you will diagnose, install, maintain, and repair piping, fixtures, and water systems in residential properties. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver who can deliver exceptional customer service while ensuring all work complies with local plumbing codes and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnostic & Repair: Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with residential water supply, drainage, and gas lines. Repair or replace broken pipes, clogged drains, leaking fixtures, and faulty water heaters.

• Installation: Install plumbing systems, fixtures, and appliances in residential homes (e.g., sinks, toilets, bathtubs, water heaters, garbage disposals, and water softeners).

• Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance inspections on residential systems to prevent future plumbing failures.

• Customer Service: Explain plumbing issues and necessary repairs clearly to tenants and owners, providing accurate cost estimates and ensuring a clean work environment post-repair.

• Documentation: Maintain accurate records of time spent, materials used, and services rendered for billing and compliance purposes.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Proven experience working as a residential plumber (licensed Journeyman or Master Plumber preferred).

• Technical Skills: An understanding of residential water distribution, waste systems, and venting. Proficiency with plumbing tools, equipment, and diagnostic tech.

• Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of local plumbing and building codes.

• Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work in confined spaces (crawl spaces, attics), and stand or kneel for extended periods.

• Tools: Must possess a basic set of hand and power tools required to perform daily repair tasks.

• Credentials: Valid driver’s license and insurance. Must be able to pass a standard background check.
