What do our Pest Control Technicians do?

The primary purpose of this role is to perform our industry-leading pest management services for residential customers. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
  • Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, safely and effectively.
  • Educate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest-free environment. Provide advice on how to reduce future infestations.
  • Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, assist with sales to current customers, and expand our services to new clients.
  • Ensure pest control equipment is properly maintained, stocked, and in good working condition.
  • Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols.
  • Drive and operate a company-provided service vehicle safely (routine maintenance included).
Essential Job Functions:
  • Work in tight, confined spaces such as basements, attics, crawl spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways.
  • Work around animals, insects, and termites.
  • Handle conditions involving mechanical parts, vehicles, electrical current, heights, scaffolding, fumes, dust, and chemicals safely (training provided).
  • Work both indoors and outdoors in various weather conditions, wearing appropriate gear.
  • Move frequently—sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and navigate stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles.
  • Wear PPE such as OSHA-compliant respirators.
What do you need?
  • Clean-shaven face for safety reasons (rebreathers need a seal).
  • High school diploma or GED; related experience/training or equivalent.
  • Successfully pass pre-employment background check.
  • Valid driver’s license and driving record check (company vehicle and gas card provided).
  • Licenses/certificates as required by law (covered by us).
  • Availability to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed.
  • Willingness to learn all aspects of pest control.
  • Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
  • Basic math skills for following instructions on product labels.
  • Customer-facing experience preferred.
