Job summary

Rentokil North America, Inc. seeks a Pest Control Technician to perform residential pest management, conduct inspections, apply treatments, and educate customers on prevention.

You will operate a company vehicle and comply with safety regulations while representing a trusted pest control partner. Responsibilities include inspecting properties, applying products, educating customers, and maintaining equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license from state of residence (Company vehicle and gas card provided).
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and/local regulations (covered by us).
• Available to work Monday–Friday and weekends as needed.
• Solid reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills — follow instructions for mixing on product labels.
• Customer-facing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to eliminate pests while adhering to safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and how to reduce future infestations.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, assist with sales to current customers, and expand product reach.
• Ensure pest control equipment is maintained, stocked, and in good condition.
• Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations and safety protocols.
• Drive and operate a company-provided service vehicle.
