Job summary

Terminix in Salt Lake City, UT is seeking a skilled Pest Control Technician to deliver residential pest management services. You will identify pests, perform inspections, apply treatments, and provide preventative advice to protect homes, all while following safety regulations and using company equipment.

Responsibilities include educating customers, scheduling follow-ups, maintaining tools, and complying with local and state rules.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
Customer-facing experience preferred.
Basic math skills needed to follow product labels.

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to effectively eliminate pests while adhering to safety standards.
Educate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of maintaining a pest-free environment.
Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm their appointments, assist with sales to current customers, and expand products to new customers.
Ensure pest control equipment is properly maintained, stocked, and in good working condition.
Adhere to all local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols.
Drive and safely operate a company-provided service vehicle.
