Job summary

Rentokil North America is seeking a full-time Pest Control Technician to perform residential pest management, inspections, and treatments while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance. You will educate customers, schedule visits, and support sales of additional services.

The role requires a clean driving record, physical ability to work in varied spaces, and the willingness to travel within local areas. Benefits start day 1 for full-time staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required or equivalent.
• Valid driver's license required for company vehicle use.
• Strong reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
• Basic math skills for measuring and mixing products.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough inspections of client properties to identify signs of pest infestations, damage, and entry points.
• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, while following safety standards.
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and the importance of a pest-free environment.
• Provide advice on how to reduce the risk of future infestations.
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, and assist in upselling services.
• Ensure pest control equipment is maintained, stocked, and in good working condition.
