Qualifications

• Valid Alaska Driver’s License
• Must be insured by company’s auto insurance
• Prior paint experience or related field required
• Understanding of paint preparation (taping, sanding, sheet rock repair) preferred
• Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
• Ability to work independently and willingness to learn

Responsibilities

• Complete painting tasks using standard methods, materials, tools and equipment of the paint trade
• Prepare surfaces, protect floors and fixtures, and apply paint to required areas
• Repair and install sheet rock up to 4x8 sheets including mud, sanding and texturing
• Assist in custodial tasks as needed in common areas and units
• Maintain safe, organized work areas and report health or safety concerns
• Meet work order completion deadlines and work as part of a team as needed
