Job summary

North Ridge Painting LLC is seeking a residential Painter/Finisher in Amenia, NY to perform high-quality exterior and interior painting in upscale homes. You will prepare surfaces, apply finishes, and ensure client satisfaction with a professional approach.

Experience preferred but not required; a positive attitude and willingness to learn are valued. Projects may include plaster, wallpaper, and liquid coatings across multiple homes, with opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Previous residential painting experience preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to commute between job sites.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift and carry 20 lbs of equipment.

Responsibilities

• Paint using proper applicator (brush, roller, etc.) with correct techniques.
• Interact professionally with customers, evaluating requests, pricing projects, and describing work orders as needed.
• Identify proper materials and quantities for new and existing projects.
• Prepare surfaces for painting by washing, scraping, sanding, or other necessary methods.
• Mix, match, and blend paints, enamels, lacquers, varnishes, stains, and coatings for desired color and finish.
• Use caulk, putty, cement, or plaster to repair holes and cracks.
• Inspect paint jobs for quality.
• Perform daily maintenance on painting equipment.
