Job summary

Sevan Multi-Site Solutions is seeking a Painter to paint interior and exterior surfaces of residential homes across military installations. The role ensures move-in readiness and a positive resident experience within our communities.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year in painting, understands paints and finishes, and can lift up to 50 pounds. This fully on-site role offers $21-$29 per hour, dental/vision, and sick time benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year in the painting trade.
• Knowledge of paints – urethanes, epoxies, and enamels with understanding of hazardous materials.
• Completion of OSHA 10 or 30, or ability to complete.

Responsibilities

• Providing painting of interior and exterior facets of the construction scope of work.
• Masking and covering as required to protect adjacent surfaces.
• Preparing all existing drywall to receive paint.
• Ability to perform minor drywall patching/mudding/sanding to prepare for paint.
• Mixing, carrying, and applying paint to walls, ceilings, cabinetry and trim.
• Cleaning, protecting, and moving materials, tools, and equipment.
• Erecting ladders and scaffolding
• Coordinating with other trades.
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace at all times.

Summary:

The Painter is responsible for painting interior and exterior surfaces of residential homes. The Painter assists in making residential homes move-in ready and creating the best possible experience within our residential communities.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• Providing painting of all interior and exterior facets of the construction scope of work.
• Masking and covering as required to protect adjacent surfaces.
• Preparing all existing drywall to receive paint.
• Ability to perform minor drywall patching/mudding/sanding to prepare for paint.
• Mixing, carrying, and applying paint to walls, ceilings, cabinetry and trim.
• Cleaning, protecting, and moving materials, tools, and equipment.
• Erecting ladders and scaffolding
• Supporting multiple residential sites within military installations.
• Coordinating with other trades.
• Maintaining a clean and safe workspace at all times.
• Maintaining routine maintenance on scope specific equipment
• Adhering to PPE requirements at all times.
• Ability to work from heights with an understanding of safety requirements for that work.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1+ year in the painting trade.
• Knowledge of Paints – urethanes, epoxies, and enamels along with an understanding of the hazardous materials within.
• Punchlist experience.
• Completion of OSHA 10 or 30, or ability to complete.
• Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment such as paint sprayers, brushes, and rollers.

Work Conditions

This is a fully on-site role at the project location(s). Must have ability to stoop, stand, climb, frequently lift up to 50 lbs. Regularly required to crouch and reach to install/move equipment by bending forward at the waist or by bending legs and spine. Involves movement between floors, and properties to facilitate work. Ability to speak clearly so others can understand you.
