Job summary

The State of Iowa seeks a Residential Officer for the Dubuque facility, on 2nd shift (Sat 4:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., Sun 2:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m., Mon 4:00 p.m.–10:00 p.m.). Starting wage is $22.94 per hour plus shift differential, with a focus on preparing clients for successful reentry and promoting community safety.

Qualifications

• Background investigation required.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• First Aid and CPR certification may be required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct facility security checks and searches.
• Transport clients within the community.
• Observe and assess client behaviors and interactions.
• Support case managers and clients in achieving goals.
• Respond to emergencies using approved safety techniques.
