Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Review and underwrite conventional mortgage loans.
• Analyze credit reports, income docs, appraisals, and assets.
• Evaluate borrower capacity and risk per guidelines.
• Decide loan approvals, suspensions, or denials with justification.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and investor requirements.
• Review complex income including self-employment and non-traditional sources.
• Communicate loan conditions to loan officers and staff.
• Prepare packages for sale to investors and funding.
• Participate in training, audits, and process improvements.
