Job summary

Axos Bank is seeking a Closer to play a cross-functional role in the closing process, including disclosures, drawing documents, and funding loans. The position requires in-depth knowledge of RESPA and TRID guidelines and experience in a lender's closing department.

Responsibilities include generating disclosures, drawing documents, auditing for accuracy, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Strong organizational, mathematical, and communication skills are essential in a fast-paced, team-oriented

Qualifications

• Knowledge of RESPA and TRID guidelines.
• Experience in a lender's closing department.
• Ability to draw documents using third-party software (DocMagic).
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Attention to detail with strong problem identification.
• Team-oriented with strong communication.
• Familiarity with investor guidelines and suspense clearance for loan purchases.

Responsibilities

• Generate initial and final closing disclosures.
• Draw closing documents.
• Audit loan documents for accuracy.
• Clear conditions with Processing and Underwriting.
• Regulatory validation including Flood, HMDA, TRID, RESPA.
• Cross-train on funding loans.
