Job summary

Supportive Concepts for Families, Inc. in Washington, PA is seeking a Mental Health Residential Caseworker to provide supervision, case management, rehabilitation, and recovery-oriented support to adults living in a residential setting.

You will help residents develop independent living skills, coordinate with mental health providers, monitor progress, and document outcomes while maintaining licensing compliance. Paid training provided as part of a mission-driven organization.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree (or 60 credit hours) and three years of experience working directly with individuals with mental health and/or co-occurring diagnoses.
• Five (5) or more years of experience in Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol Recovery, or Rehabilitation Services may be substituted for college coursework at the discretion of the hiring manager.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
• Ability to establish supportive therapeutic relationships with residents

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, case management, rehabilitation, and recovery-oriented support to adults with serious and persistent mental health conditions in a residential setting.
• Assist residents in developing independent living skills including personal hygiene, housekeeping, budgeting, medication self-management, transportation, and meal preparation.
• Coordinate services with mental health providers, psychiatrists, case managers, family members, and community resources to support individualized recovery goals.
• Monitor resident progress, assist with assessments and service planning, provide crisis intervention support, and encourage wellness, independence, and self-determination.
• Complete accurate documentation, medication records, progress notes, and incident reports while maintaining compliance with licensing and regulatory requirements.
