Job summary

Redwood Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine and preventive maintenance across apartment communities. You will handle maintenance requests, prep vacant units, and support property upkeep to ensure safety and appeal.

The role involves painting, plumbing, electrical tasks, and basic appliance repairs, with a Monday–Friday schedule and pay range of $20–$22 per hour. A valid license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Experience performing general maintenance tasks at multiple locations.
• Valid driver’s license and insurance.
• Legally eligible to work in the U.S. (I-9)

Responsibilities

• Receive, prioritize, and complete maintenance requests for units and common areas.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy in a timely, efficient manner.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs.
• Monitor building systems to ensure safety and reliability.
• Perform groundskeeping and interior/exterior cleaning tasks to maintain curb appeal.
• Procure and manage supplies and tools for daily maintenance needs.
