Job summary

Glendale Development in Amherst, NY is seeking an Apartment Maintenance team to fill all positions from entry to advanced levels. Wages range from $16.50–$26.00 per hour, depending on level and experience.

The roles cover cleaning, basic repairs, and make-ready tasks across apartment units. Responsibilities include grounds maintenance, unit cleaning, light plumbing and electrical work, and winter snow removal.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, repairs and property upkeep.
• Ability to participate in on-call rotation as needed.
• Personal smartphone for time tracking purposes.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintains property grounds and appearance.
• Clean out units in preparation for occupancy.
• Performs minor maintenance tasks such as changing lightbulbs and touch up paint with supervision.
• Performs general apartment repairs (patching/painting drywall, changing locks, door repairs, fixtures) and assists in make-ready and work orders.
• Performs snow removal and related winter maintenance as needed.
