Job summary

Skills of Central PA is hiring a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to support the Maintenance Department across York and Adams Counties. The role involves routine maintenance, repairs of properties, equipment, furniture and fleet vehicles, and maintaining a safe living environment within residential homes.

Essential duties include safety inspections, coordinating maintenance tasks, and ensuring completion of vehicle and building upkeep.

Qualifications

• Requires basic manual hand and power tool familiarity.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry repairs.
• Prior maintenance experience preferred but not required.
• Valid Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Perform repairs and renovations to sites and equipment as needed.
• Assess and improve safety of the physical environment at each site.
• Complete monthly safety inspections and address hazards.
• Maintain and repair household and grounds as required.
• Communicate maintenance needs to appropriate staff and ensure follow-up.
