Job summary

ZRS Management, LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide skilled, on-site service to residents. You will work with the Maintenance Supervisor to perform repairs across plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and related systems.

The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and high-quality resident interactions. Responsibilities include turnover maintenance, common area upkeep, preventive maintenance support, inventory logging, and ensuring safe operation of equipment.

Qualifications

• Must have maintenance experience in plumbing, electrical, HVAC and appliances.
• EPA certification preferred; if required at a specific property, certification must be obtained within 90 days of start date.
• Must have valid driver's license with acceptable driving record & proof of automobile insurance coverage.

Responsibilities

• Perform independent technical maintenance repairs to plumbing, electrical, heating, air conditioning, appliances, and related systems.
• Complete apartment turnover maintenance within 3–5 business days and ensure turnover checklist is completed.
• Maintain common areas: sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, trash, pressure washing, and window cleaning.
• Monitor exterior building conditions (roof, siding, shutters) and report issues.
• Support and help maintain a preventive maintenance program within area of responsibility.
• Ensure the safe condition of all equipment or structures in area of expertise.
• Enter newly purchased tools or equipment into inventory.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Observe all safety rules.
