Job summary

MPI is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for high-end residential properties in the Greater Boston area. The role focuses on carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC and general upkeep of luxury homes.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of residential carpentry, own tools and a valid MA driver’s license. Knowledge of locks, fixtures and general maintenance is essential. Competitive hourly pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of residential carpentry experience required.
• Must have own hand tools and truck (preferred).
• Valid Massachusetts Driver's License is required.
• MA Construction Supervisors License (not required but preferred).
• Computer skills include Excel, Project and Word.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance such as carpentry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC repairs, appliance repairs, drywall, and painting.
• Maintain efficient operation and upkeep of properties.
• Appliance service and repair a plus.
• Repair or replace plumbing fixtures as needed.
• Change locks when required.
• Provide maintenance support for mechanical, electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Identify hazards and ensure resident safety.
• Display service-oriented mindset with residents, staff, vendors and customers.
• Complete projects in a thorough, accurate, timely manner.
• Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
