Job summary

Sares Regis Group is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician for a 144-unit community in Tempe, Arizona. You will perform routine maintenance, repairs, preventative tasks, and respond to resident service requests to keep the property safe, functional, and well-presented.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of experience in apartment maintenance, residential facilities repair, or general trades (100+ unit community experience preferred).
• Strong working knowledge of plumbing, basic electrical, drywall/painting, appliance repair, and carpentry.
• Must have basic hand tools and experience operating power tools safely.
• Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation (required for on-call duties).
• Ability to pass a background check and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Complete maintenance work orders and resident service requests in a timely manner.
• Perform repairs related to plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, and general maintenance.
• Conduct preventative maintenance and routine property inspections.
• Assist with apartment turns, including painting, cleaning, and minor repairs.
• Maintain the property's appearance, safety, and overall functionality.
• Participate in the on-call rotation and respond to maintenance emergencies as needed.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and team members.
