Job summary

SFR3 Fund is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to protect tenant safety and comfort by inspecting, repairing, and maintaining homes in Missouri. You’ll proactively identify issues, perform general trades, and document work with handheld devices to keep residents updated.

Responsibilities include carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical tasks, evaluating vacated homes, conducting inspections, and pre-renovation work.

Qualifications

• Proficient in carpentry, plumbing, HVAC, electrical work and general property turns.
• Strong communication for positive resident and team interactions.
• Own tools and a truck or van.
• Valid driver’s license and local residency required.
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Comfortable using handheld devices for work orders and updates.
• Familiar with building codes, EPA and OSHA regulations.
• Maintain a reliable, professional appearance.

Job description

As a PE, you’ll play a key role in ensuring tenant satisfaction by inspecting, repairing, and maintaining homes. You’ll proactively identify and address issues, setting the standard for our relationship with tenants through excellent service and communication.

• Perform general maintenance and repairs, including Carpentry, HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical work.
• Evaluate vacated homes to create a punch list of necessary repairs, replacements and cleaning tasks.
• Conduct property inspections, secure homes, and complete vacancy/wellness checks.
• Handle minor pre-renovation repairs, utility inspections, and basic troubleshooting.
• Cosmetic Refurbishment - patch drywall, painting, replace LVP flooring, and deep cleaning
• Maintain and document property conditions using handheld technology (e.g., iPad, iPhone).
