Job summary

Nova Recovery Center is seeking a Maintenance Technician to uphold safety and functionality of residential properties, performing routine and emergency repairs across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years of maintenance experience, a valid driver's license, and strong problem-solving and communication skills. This on-site, full-time role supports residents and staff in a dynamic facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of maintenance experience with HVAC, electrical, and plumbing.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC, electrical, plumbing and carpentry systems.
• Troubleshoot and maintain HVAC units, including filter changes.
• Install, repair and maintain electrical fixtures, outlets, circuit breakers and plumbing components.
• Conduct minor carpentry, drywall repairs, painting and general property upkeep.
• Maintain property exteriors, interiors, landscaping and ensure proper trash disposal.
• Keep workspace and storage areas clean, safe and organized.
• Assist with special projects, facility upgrades and property improvements.
• Communicate maintenance updates to management and collaborate professionally with staff, clients and vendors.
