The Housing Authority of the City of Newark is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to maintain and repair the housing facilities. You will perform routine and emergency maintenance on plumbing, electrical, and HVAC systems to ensure a safe living environment for residents.

Responsibilities include inspections, documentation of work, and coordination with residents and contractors. A minimum of 3 years in maintenance and a high school diploma are required; vocational training is preferred.

Formación

• Minimum 3 years of maintenance experience in residential/commercial properties.
• Experience with HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems.
• Ability to read technical manuals and blueprints.
• Strong problem-solving and attention to detail.
• Good communication with residents and team.
