Job summary

bickhamservices is seeking compassionate LVN/LPNs to provide direct nursing care to residents at our Brenham, TX healthcare center. The positions are temporary with openings for immediate start date and a rate of $28-$31 per hour, DOE.

Responsibilities include administering medications, monitoring health, documenting care, and collaborating with the care team to support residents with IDD, psychiatric, and dual-diagnosis needs.

Qualifications

• Current, unencumbered Texas LVN/LPN license.
• Experience with IDD, psychiatric, or dual-diagnosis populations.
• Must pass background check and drug screening.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to resident care.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to residents per established care plans and nursing standards.
• Monitor residents' health and report changes to healthcare professionals.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered and per policies.
• Maintain accurate and timely nursing documentation and resident records.
• Assess residents' health needs and respond to changes in condition.
• Support IDD, psychiatric, and dual-diagnosis residents respectfully.
• Communicate with residents, families, healthcare providers, and care team.
• Follow facility policies, safety procedures, and nursing regulations.
• Work independently while collaborating with nurses and direct-care staff.
• Adapt to changing resident needs and workplace situations.
