Job summary

Underwriter Services Association is looking for an Insurance Inspector in Detroit, MI. You will conduct on-site insurance underwriting inspections, collecting comprehensive data including property dimensions and photos.

This role allows for a flexible schedule and the opportunity to work independently. Ideal candidates will have a reliable vehicle and be comfortable working outdoors. Upon completion of inspections, data will be uploaded to an online platform.

This Position

As an Insurance Inspector you would be on-site conducting insurance underwriting inspections by collecting data for a condition assessment, measuring dimensions of the property, taking photographs of all sides of the structure, roof photos, exterior amenities, hazards, and identifying building materials of the risk. Upon completion, all information collected will be uploaded onto an internet-based platform.
