Job summary

Information Providers, Inc, a field service company conducting underwriting surveys for insurance companies across 28 states, invites you to join as an Insurance Inspector. You will perform on-site inspections, gather data for condition assessments, photograph properties, and upload findings to our online platform.

Qualifications

• Self-starter who can work independently.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all seasons.
• Reliable vehicle for inspections (to travel to sites).
• Windows-based computer with internet access.
• Smartphone (Android or iPhone).

Responsibilities

• Conduct insurance underwriting inspections by collecting data for condition assessments.
• Measure property dimensions and take photos of all sides of the structure, including roof photos and exterior features.
• Identify building materials and hazards on the risk being ins[ured].
• Upload collected information onto the internet-based platform after inspections.

This Position

As an Insurance Inspector, you would be on-site conducting insurance underwriting inspections by collecting data for a condition assessment, measuring dimensions of the property, taking photographs of all sides of the structure, roof photos, exterior amenities, hazards, and identifying building materials of the risk. Upon completion, all information collected will be uploaded onto an internet-based platform.
