Residential Loan Closer I

Full Time Hillsboro, OH, US

• The Loan Closer is responsible for preparing all closing documents on real estate loans, home equity and modifications in a timely and accurate manner.
• In addition, the Loan Closer will work diligently with title agencies on closings and ensure that there is compliance with all regulations.
• The Loan Closer types accurate closing documents, submits closing fees to the title agency, reviews CD/HUD statements and closing docs, prepares coupon books, and funding wires/checks.
• Tracks and manages closed loan files on the loan software and team calendar.
• Completes the loan checklist to indicate all documents needed in order to have a complete loan file.
• Cross trains within the team and works closely with the Processor to ensure proper coverage and backup.
• Transfers and passes off loan files in a timely manner.
• Complete all other tasks/duties as needed while maintaining great customer service internally and externally.
• Other duties as assigned.
• High School Graduate
• Minimum of 3 years' experience within Residential Loan Closing
• The successful candidate must be proficient in basic software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel, must be detail oriented and maintain a high level of integrity and accuracy.
• Excellent problem solving and customer service skills required.
