Job summary

Equus Workforce Solutions is seeking a Lead Residential Advisor to supervise and mentor students, ensuring a safe and structured living environment at the center. The role involves documenting progress, coordinating with staff, and guiding youth through life-skills activities.

Responsibilities include maintaining cleanliness, safety, and accurate records while fostering professional growth for residents and staff within the program.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience in counseling, education, social work, rehabilitation, or vocational guidance.
• One-year supervisory experience.
• Experience working with diverse youth.
• A valid driver’s license in the state of employment with an acceptable driving record

Responsibilities

• Assists students in adjusting to Center life by providing supervision and mentoring.
• Supervises daily activities including personal hygiene, room chores, and routines.
• Ensures dorms are clean, inspection ready, and safe.
• Audits and documents student records and progress.
• Acts as liaison between management, staff and students.
• Leads life skills groups on budgeting, renter's rights, leases, and responsibilities.
• Maintains safety via regular perimeter checks and daily roll calls.

Education

Associate degree from a four-year college or university in a related field; or equivalent combination of education and related field experience.
