Job summary

TruGreen is seeking a Residential Lawn Care Technician in Wixom, MI to service residential and commercial lawns. You will drive a company vehicle, apply treatments, assess customer needs, and manage routes using a tablet. This role offers paid training, weekly pay, growth opportunities, and outdoor work in a fast-paced setting.

You must be 19+, have a valid driver’s license, be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card, and pass MVR/background checks. High school diploma or GED required.

Qualifications

What You'll Do

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (must be able to become DOT certified)
• Applying lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions and additional services
• Managing your route and customer information using a tablet
• Building relationships with customers and delivering exceptional service
• Work outdoors in a fast-paced, independent environment safely

What to Expect

• Walking an average 10-12 miles outdoors throughout the day
• Lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions

• Serving multiple customers each day

What You'll Need

• Must be at least 19 years old at the time of hire
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to pass MVR and comfortable consenting to a criminal background check
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
