TruGreen is hiring a Residential Lawn Care Technician in Temple, TX (Temple Branch). You will manage your own route, apply lawn care products, and interact with customers to meet their lawn care needs.

This role involves outdoor work, driving a company vehicle, and achieving certifications. Paid training, weekly pay, and opportunities for growth are included. Must be located in the United States and have a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old at time of hire.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to pass MVR and consent to a background check.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (DOT certification can be pursued).
• Apply lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties.

What You'll Do

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (must be able to become DOT certified)
• Applying lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions and additional services

What To Expect

This is a physically active role that includes:

• Walking an average 10-12 miles outdoors throughout the day
• Lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Operating equipment safely
• Serving multiple customers each day

What You'll Need

• Must be at least 19 years old at the time of hire
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to pass MVR and comfortable consenting to a criminal background check
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation
• High school diploma or GED

• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently
