TruGreen in Rochelle, IL is hiring a Residential Lawn Care Technician to service assigned routes and apply lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties. This role is outdoors, independent, and involves managing your own route with a tablet.

Paid training, state certification, and opportunities for career growth are provided. You must be at least 19, have a valid driver's license, pass MVR and a background check, and be fluent in English.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old at time of hire.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to pass MVR and background check.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable, self-motivated, customer-focused mindset.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (must be able to become DOT certified).
• Apply lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions and additional services.
• Manage your route and customer information using a tablet.
• Build relationships with customers and deliver exceptional service.
• Work outdoors in a fast-paced, independent environment safely.

What You'll Do

What To Expect

This is a physically active role that includes:

• Walking an average 10-12 miles outdoors throughout the day
• Lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Operating equipment safely
• Serving multiple customers each day

What You'll Need

• Must be at least 19 years old at the time of hire
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to pass MVR and comfortable consenting to a criminal background check
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
