Job summary

TruGreen is seeking a Residential Lawn Care Technician in Puyallup, WA to service homes across Puget Sound. You will apply lawn treatments, manage your own route, and build lasting customer relationships while delivering quality lawn care throughout the growing season.

Paid training and certification are provided, with benefits eligibility at 30 days. The role offers growth potential and a path to advance within a nationwide lawn care leader.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old at time of hire.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to pass MVR and consent to a criminal background check.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
• High school diploma or GED (listed above).
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (must be able to become DOT certified).
• Applying lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions and additional services.
• Managing your route and customer information using a tablet.
• Building relationships with customers and delivering exceptional service.
• Work outdoors in a fast-paced, independent environment safely.

What You'll Do

• Walking an average of 10-12 miles outdoors throughout the day
• Lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Operating equipment safely
• Serving multiple customers each day

What You'll Need

• Must be at least 19 years old at the time of hire
