Kalamazoo, MI-based TruGreen Residential Lawn Care Technician role in Portage area involves driving a company vehicle on an assigned route, applying lawn care treatments, identifying customer needs, and managing routes on a tablet. You will build relationships and deliver exceptional service while working outdoors in a fast-paced, independent setting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old at the time of hire.
• Valid driver10s license and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to pass MVR and comfortable consenting to a criminal background check.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable, self-motivated, customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.

What To Expect

This is a physically active role that includes:

• Walking an average 10-12 miles outdoors throughout the day
• Lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Operating equipment safely
• Serving multiple customers each day
