Job summary

TruGreen in Memphis is seeking a Residential Lawn Care Technician to service homeowners across the area. You will drive a company vehicle on an assigned route, apply lawn care treatments, and build relationships with customers while delivering exceptional service. No lawn care experience?

Paid training and company-certified instruction will equip you with the skills to succeed and grow within TruGreen. This role is outdoor, physically active and offers weekly pay and clear career development

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old at time of hire.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to pass MVR and consent to a criminal background check.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (DOT certification eligibility).
• Apply lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions and services.
• Manage route and customer information using a tablet.

What You'll Do

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (must be able to become DOT certified)
• Applying lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties

What To Expect

This is a physically active role that includes:

• Walking an average 10-12 miles outdoors throughout the day
• Lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Operating equipment safely
• Serving multiple customers each day

What You'll Need

• Must be at least 21 years old at the time of hire
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
• Ability to pass MVR and comfortable consenting to a criminal background check
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card
