Job summary

TruGreen is seeking a Residential Lawn Care Technician for the KC North/Lee's Summit area. You will independently manage a route, apply lawn care treatments on homes and businesses, and build strong relationships with customers while delivering safe, high-quality service.

Paid training, company-paid state certification, and weekly pay are provided. The role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to pass background checks, and comfort working outdoors in various conditions.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 19 years old at time of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to pass MVR and consent to a criminal background check.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Ability to perform essential functions with or without accommodation.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable, self-motivated, customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (DOT certification possible).
• Apply lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions and additional services.
• Manage your route and customer information using a tablet.
• Build relationships with customers and deliver exceptional service.
• Work outdoors in a fast-paced, independent environment safely.

What You'll Do

What To Expect

This is a physically active role that includes:

• Walking an average 10-12 miles outdoors throughout the day
• Lifting and moving materials up to 50 pounds
• Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Operating equipment safely
• Serving multiple customers each day

What You'll Need

• Must be at least 19 years old at the time of hire
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
