Job summary

TruGreen is seeking a Residential Lawn Care Technician to service homeowners in the Charleston, SC area. The role involves managing your own route, applying lawn care treatments, and ensuring customer satisfaction through proactive service and recommendations.

Paid training, company-paid certification, and career growth paths accompany a strong benefits package. You’ll work outdoors on a daily basis, with weekly pay and opportunities for overtime during peak season.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old at time of hire.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Ability to pass MVR and consent to a criminal background check.
• Ability to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Reliable, self-motivated, customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to speak, read, and write English fluently.

Responsibilities

• Drive a company vehicle on an assigned route (must be able to become DOT certified).
• Apply lawn care treatments to residential and commercial properties.
• Identify customer needs and recommend solutions and additional services.
• Manage route and customer information using a tablet.
• Build relationships with customers and deliver exceptional service.
• Work outdoors in a fast-paced, independent environment safely.
