Tilson Homes is seeking a Residential Land Preparation Specialist to join our Gulf Coast operations. You will meet with customers on-site, mark where the house will sit, and coordinate with utility providers and survey teams while working outdoors along the Gulf Coast area.

You will research local regulations, assess site conditions, and ensure permits are obtained. A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required for company vehicle use and field travel.

Qualificações

• Mark out house location on customer property per plans.
• Research local/state restrictions and FEMA requirements for the property.
• Identify utility providers and property details.
• Determine utilities, well and septic needs and site conditions.
• Coordinate permits and stake-out activities with regard to surveys/elevations.

Tilson Homes looking for an enthusiastic individual to join our team in the Gulf Coast area as a Residential Land Preparation Specialist.

Requirements

As a Residential Land Preparation Specialist you will be responsible for marking out the location of the house on the customer’s property based on the information provided. Research and ensure compliance with any local or state restrictions, and facilitating land development activities that prepare a future home site for construction. Additional requirements are:

• Meet with customers prior to construction to discuss the location of the house on the property.
• Research: identify any obstacles, requirements (state, local, FEMA) for the property.
• Confirm the location of the property (city, county) and identify utility providers.
• Determine the location of house placement on the property and the need for utilities, well and septic.
• Determine site conditions and coordinate site improvements as necessary.
• Determine what permits are needed and obtain permits.
• Complete a physical stake out of the property and future home location with consideration of the property survey and shoot grade elevations.
• Must have knowledge of state and county codes for well and septic.
• Must have a valid driver's license and have a clear driving record for company vehicle insurance purposes.
