Role Overview

The Residential Designer creates innovative designs within client budgets, maximizes revenue, and maintains vendor and internal relationships to ensure sales success.

Position Details
  • Title: Residential Interior Designer
  • Reports to: City Services Director
  • Location: Showroom with regional travel
  • Compensation: $50,000-$100,000+ based on commission plus mileage reimbursement
Key Responsibilities
  • Prospecting and sales activities to generate new business and assist guests with design solutions
  • Creating and presenting home designs, including floor plans, color palettes, and furniture layouts
  • Providing exceptional customer service and handling objections
  • Staying updated on product knowledge and industry news
  • Administrative tasks including reporting and project tracking
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
  • 1-5 years of relevant experience; interior design license preferred
  • Bilingual proficiency required
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends, navigate large showrooms, and stand for extended periods
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Google Suite, SketchUp, AutoCAD, and use of iPads
  • Valid Florida driver’s license
